Our Willie James is an extraordinary dog. He likes to snuggle, he loves to swim and catch not one, but two toys in his mouth, and he is the uncanny ability to understand full sentences. If you tell Willie to get his blue Kong, and inform him that it is upstairs, he will run up and get it. If you ask Willie to get a certain tennis ball, he will find the very ball you asked for and retrieve it for him.
He also speaks. If he wants a doggie cookie, he will walk over to where the box is stored, and look at you. Then, he will make a gruff low woof, and then he will point his head toward the box and repeat the woof. He will do this until you give him a cookie.
Willie is a social eater as well. When he is eating his crunchies at our dinner time, he will take some dog food in his mouth and face us at the dinner table and chew. Willie is part of our family, and I cannot picture a better boy!
