This shiny lady is my girl Hoyt Emma, though I call her Hoyt for everyday use. Hoyt is one smart dog. She can sit, stay, shake, speak(bark), lay, and we are working on rolling over. Some folks think that's just a trick for small dogs, but she is pretty good about trying anything I can come up with. Keeping her busy mentally as well as physically is important! Most people think she is still a puppy, but she hides her age well. She is a Lab/Heeler mix, so has plenty of energy.
Hoyt also loves to play fetch and catch in the park with her Frisbee and ball. When in the house, she will be in my right pocket following close behind. She doesn't try to herd me exactly, like the Heeler side of her gene pool, but I am never out of her sight, and she prefers to be touching me if possible. She truly is this man's best friend :).
