Her name is Shadow, and she is 13 years old. She was a rescue dog from the Norman Oklahoma Animal Shelter. We were told she is one half Siberian Husky and one half German Shepherd. We are from Washington, Oklahoma, which is in McClain county. At heart she is really a one-person dog, but she loves whole family. She is absolutely the best dog our family has ever had.
She likes to follow the grandkids everywhere. She makes her own decisions, goes, eats, sleeps when and where she wants. She has to be outside when we are, to prove her love for us. It is hard for her to get around now, but she still goes outside with me. She is a great dog, part of the whole extended family. It is going to hurt everyone when she is not with us anymore, but even the best dogs cannot live forever. We will always love her.
