Chloe Eli Gilliam (a.k.a. Chloe) may be small but she is cute and she knows it! She is very smart and cunning as well, often using her looks to get in and out of things. She enjoys sticking the end of her tongue out in a derp face to get the attention of people to come pet her. She enjoys being up high where she can look down at other dogs. She definitely thinks she is a queen, to the point we call her Chloepatra. She gets jealous easily so when you're sitting down she will really snuggle up to you, going so far as sitting on your shoulders or lap.
Normally she doesn't like her picture taken, but ever since we put a trail cam in the backyard for bird watching she has taken to posing in front of it or running around making it go off for some cool action shots. She is incredibly loyal to a fault. She is a very curious dog and enjoys exploring the neighborhood whenever she can. She has really short legs with super fluffy paws so we also call her a hobbit. She actually shares many characteristics with one too, like her eating habits and love of being over all carefree. She has a really soft face and floppy ears so smushing her face is so much fun, and simply because she loves attention she just lets you. She is a really smart dog and one of the best friends a girl could ask for.
She is far from our first dog as we have had three before her, we originally saw her on the humane society's website. In her picture she looked like a smaller red version of our very first dog, prompting us to go check her out. When we first met her and sat down on the floor to pet her, she sidled up, looking at us with big golden colored eyes, nuzzling our hands and just snuggling. We instantly fell in love and ended up taking her home the very same day.
Chloe knows a slew of tricks, such as sit shake and derp face, she will even dance for a treat by standing on her back paws and shimmying. She is extremely affectionate and the best part is she never barks, not unless she feels we are threatened, mainly by other dogs. (For a small, dainty, princess-like dodg, she has a surprisingly manly bark). When in the distance she really reminds you of a little fox wandering around. She is just so amazing!
