This is a picture of our Vizsla, Lewis (with some antlers added to the picture digitally after the fact, as the ones at the store kept sliding off his head, his fur is too slick!). He's a true Christmas dog because he was born on Christmas Eve. He was quite a handful as a puppy (as Vizslas can be), but at nearly four years old, he is an absolute delight. He lives in Germantown, MD with three cats and two horses. He loves the cats (although they only tolerate him), and isn't sure what to think of the horses yet.
Vizslas are bred to hunt birds, and although Lewis points beautifully with no prompting, we've never hunted with him. He loves hiking, running on the beach, swimming in our lake, canoeing, sledding ... basically any activity where he can be with us and run! I'm so happy he came into our lives.
