We found Willie at the Boxer Rescue. He was young and had obviously been extremely spoiled when a puppy, and then abused as he got older. He has endeared himself to us by always wanting to know where we are in or out of the house. He wants us to pet him, talk to him and love on him. If you say the word "go", he's jumping five feet in the air and making excited circles, ready to go for a walk or a ride in the car. He loves taking baths, getting blow dried - which is funny considering how short his Boxer coat is - and combed.
Watching for "Dad" at the end of the day is spent at the patio door until he sees him coming up the drive, then Willie has to come and tell Mom to let him into the garage, because he can't wait for Dad to get the car parked before he lets him know how much he missed him. He's jealous of small children on Mom or Dad's lap and the 18-year-old cat barely gets any respect. He's found a home for life, we don't know what we'd do without him.
