Summer is a now eight-ish year old mutt that I found hit by a car in Ocean City, Maryland. No one seemed to know where she came from, and no one claimed her when I posted "found dog" notices, so after a vet visit and of course healing attention, she became my dog. She did have a stint with the "cone of shame" as you can see, but is all healed now.
I have no idea what breed or breeds she is, maybe some kind of hound in there with that white tail tip, but now she is a spoiled girl who prefers the big bed to any dog bed I have offered her. She is sweet, and though she can run like the wind, is pretty calm. She is good about wearing her "doggles" on the beach to protect her eyes from the glare and sand, important for a Maryland girl. I love her.
