This is Hiro the Match Maker.
When my son was dating, in his online profile, he mentioned he had a dog named Hiro. His future wife, recognizing the Japanese name, wondered if he were someone who appreciated Japanese culture. The rest, as they say, is history. They went on a date during which Hiro was not exactly on his best behavior. But she gave him another chance and five years later they are married.
Hiro is a nine-pound rescue dog who was found eight years ago wandering the streets of Riverside, California. He was all of four pounds at the time and only a couple of months old. He is half Maltese and the rest Yorkie, Bichon and Lhasa. Who would guess that he would become the cornerstone of our family with his sweet personality and loving ways.
Hiro finally has his dream home. It is a one-story house, since he doesn't do stairs. He can run around and go inside and out as much as he wants. He deserves it. He's brought such joy to our family.
