This
is our dog Sandi. She is the awesomest doggie ever. We had her since she
was seven weeks old. She is a Shetland Sheepdog/Samoyed mix. She was one big ball
of fur that looked like she came out of the dryer. She is our best friend. We
took her to puppy training classes so she knows all the commands. She can
sit, lie down, stay and even do a cute trick with a biscuit on her nose.
We'll place it on her nose and she will not eat it until we say okay. Then
she flips it right into her mouth. She is also good at catching a ball. She
has slowed down some since then, because she is having hip problems which
could just be from her getting up in the years. Her hair makes her look
heavy, but she's not overweight. She weighs 39 pounds, and according to the vet,
she's a good weight.
She does keep busy these days with our seven-month-old beagle. We never have to
worry about her running away, because her true loyalty to us keeps her close
by. When we sit outside on warm summer nights, enjoying our firepit, she
walks around the yard, and comes right back. We don’t even need to fence in
the yard. Sandi is just a real joy to have. She is a sweetheart. We enjoy her
each and every day.
