This
is my special little boy, Buddy. He first came into my life by
showing up at my door in November of 2011. I thought he was a stray or
was lost. He was the cutest, sweetest little dog. I let him in to play
with my dog, Lucy Belle. They became fast friends. I later found out
that Buddy had a home, but for some reason he would come to mine daily.
A few months later, in July of 2012, Buddy's daddy passed away and his
mommy could no longer keep him. So Buddy came to live with us. He has
been the most wonderful addition. He is as close to perfect as a dog can
be. He has adjusted to his new life very well.
Buddy loves everyone that walks through the door. I hope one day soon to
be able to take Buddy to a local nursing home to visit the patients. I
know everyone would love him. He is so sweet. And just look at that face!
I call Buddy my Little Man. He is the first boy dog I've ever owned. And
he is all boy. He loves to play. One of his favorite things to do is
pile his toys at the door then sit in the middle of them. It's a game
for him. He is so funny. He has the best personality. And he is the
perfect companion for my Lucy.
When I first got Buddy he didn't want to be picked up or held. And he
wouldn't lay in my lap. Now he crawls into my lap every time I sit down.
He just needed love.
Buddy has learned a few tricks. He knows sit, leave it, sit up pretty,
wave and we're working on shake. He has brought us so much joy. I truly
believe that when he showed up at my door that first day, he was
searching for a home. And I'm so glad he picked ours.
