This
is my pup, his name is Mika, and he is a Golden Retriever. He was ten
weeks old in these photos, though he is a bit older now, he's just as cute!
He will chase anything I throw for him, a stick, a ball, a chewy toy. It
doesn't matter what I throw, he will retrieve it. I live by a lake, and he
just goes nuts in the water. He will swim for hours retrieving balls or
sticks, or just swimming.
I included a photo of him napping with his best friend, which is my father's
golden retriever. He doesn't realize he's not going to fit in that spot for
much longer! He is learning from his friend, too - Bailey taught him how to
poop and pee outside very quickly.
Lastly is a short video of him the first day I brought him home. I called him
over across the grass in the backyard. Somehow he listened and even knew what
his name was already. What a smart puppy, and that was just his first day! I love him.
