Sofia
is an extraordinary fawn colored Doberman, historian, world
traveler and diva who just completed her debut novel
"Life With a DoberDiva."
Having shared our lives with this exceptional dog, we have found our
lives enriched beyond measure. She is as gentle as her name sake, but
there is no doubt in our minds that she would protect our lives with
her own. She's as silent as a stealth unless of course a bark is
warranted due to an intruder near or around her property i.e. a
coyote, bobcat or even a skunk. Then that Dober-roar would shatter a window.
Generous in spirit, she's helping to raise yet another rescue, Bella,
a wee pup picked up off the streets of Rosarito. (And I mean literary
PICKED UP.) She is teaching Bella the ways of a Diva, she shares her
toys, her bed and yes, even her beloved Stuffies. (But not her knuckle
bones ... those are hers and hers alone!!)
Sofia has always done a 'bed check' in the middle of the night. She'll
come to me and lay her head on my pillow as we breathe the same air.
But only for a moment, then it's back to dream land in her own room.
She loves the beach and delights in chasing seagulls.
Although she is close to nine, she is in tip top shape running every
day along side her Dad on his bike and paying tag with Bella.
