Dutch is a therapy dog, service dog, protection dog, tracker, and is
doing security training.
Dutch came into my life while my wife was dying from cancer. He became a
therapy dog so we could visit her together. She spent her last year very
ill and Dutch was a tremendous asset in making her smile. After her
passing, I realized Dutch was able to alert me if my heart began to get
out of control so now he has a service capacity. I travel a lot now so I
began working with Dutch for personal protection ... with the assistance
of a local man who helped train him, Dutch is on guard 24/7 and is my
protector. But he still has a superb temperament with strangers. He's wary
of them but has great social skills. He loves to be with people as he's
really sociable, but prefers to be alone with daddy most of all.
