This
is my baby boy Zaiden! He came into my life when he was four months old.
I absolutely love wolves, so besides the fact everyone loves huskies, I
have an even further love for them. So it has always been a goal to have
one as a family member, and on our first anniversary, my husband made it so!
So, what makes my puppy special? And yes I still call him puppy even
though he is six years old...he will always be my puppy. It also is because,
even though he is older, he still acts like a puppy. He is very energetic
and ornery! (of course this is most huskies, it's in their genes I tell
you!) He digs, and when you think you are mad at him for doing it...he
comes over with his face covered in the dirt he unearthed and starts
loving on you. As if he saying, "oh mom, you know you love me."
He runs circles around our house sometimes losing his footing and face
planting the ground. But what is funny about this is, during mid slide of
his fall, he hops up and continues to run as if "he meant to do that."
Then there is of course, as all pet lovers know, if your upset, your pet
knows what to do to cheer you up. Though what he does to cheer me up
doesn't just stop when I am unhappy. I have two favorite things he does. One
is that he nibbles on your fingers...if feels so funny. So funny, that you
can be in the saddest mood and you cant help but laugh. I think it is his
way of tickling. Then the other favorite thing is his many faces...I have
never known a dog to have so many facial expressions. I have several
pictures of them and when I see them, I love to try and add captions.
Then, there are his hugs, which range from trying to sit in your lap or
running over, sits at your feet and starts pushing himself up against your
legs so hard that you about topple over. So many things that make my puppy
special. But of course, just like a mom to her child, he is my baby boy,
of course everything about him is special!
One of the photos is of Zaiden at four months, being very defiant so he does
what even most humans do, throws his nose to the air as if saying "Nope,
not doing it!" Another is his happy smile when he is getting what he
wants. In this case a good old belly rub. One I call, "Really Mom? More
pictures? You have till three before I take off running," and the other "I'm
Waaaaatching you!" (Actually this was taken during him sneezing. It was
just to perfectly timed it turned out so funny!)
