Maya
came to us at just six days old, because the breeder's children were
constantly getting to the puppies, and picking them up. Their mother wasn't
there much to watch them apparently, and the kids even dropped one so she
told everyone who had made deposits to come get their puppies right away.
Six out of the nine puppies got taken to their new homes, including Maya.
Because she was so young, she was not yet weaned, and so I bottle-fed her
night and day. It was exhausting as I also have my eighteen-month-old daughter as
well, but we both pulled through, now Maya is doing wonderfully, constantly
wrestles with my daughter and thinks of her as a litter-mate.
