What stands out most about Primo is his big personality. He loves almost all dogs and people. This is especially true for other dogs smaller than him and small children. If either come around him, he's attached quickly and if you try to hold him away, he gets angry then show's a short temper. Besides that you won't see a temper on him. I prefer going to dog parks rather than regular walks, because it takes so long to stop and greet every child he sees.
I found him in the newspaper listed at about seven weeks old needing a home. An elderly couple had him sleeping in a barn, something he could never do again. He was filled with fleas and his ears were covered in ticks. After a long bath and many nights of picking ticks off, he was happy and comfortable. And he will be from now on!
He's scared of nothing which can be dangerous sometimes at dog parks or other places with animals. He assumes all dogs, big or small, are friendly so I watch him closely. Every Sunday he gets a real bone. He knows the day and time for that because he goes to the freezer to ask. He is smart, special, and a much loved boy.
