Moose was brought to us through my brother, who has now, unfortunately, passed away. My brother was unable to properly take care of him or properly contain him, and as such Moose had worms and an broken hip from being hit by a car twice. He was only around six or seven months old when we got him.
Once we actually took the dog home, and got him the medical care he needed (the vet thought it was best to let his hip heal on its own, as it has been some time since it was broken) he started to make a complete turn around! He wasn't the sickly dog too weak to even stand when we got him, but instead a healthy, happy dog after some TLC!
Today, Moose walks around with a small limp since the leg attached to his broken hip has muscles that atrophied, but you can't even tell when he runs! He loves people - especially children - and looks forward to going on walks or going to the park (more human kids do)! He really is the most beautiful, wonderful dog I could have ever asked for.
