Hi,my name is Pepper and I live with people who really love me. I am a Silver dapple with tan - that's my coloring, and I am a longhair Miniature Dachshund - that's my breed. When they picked me up, I was wondering where we would be going. When I got home I found two other Dachshunds, whom I now terrorize. In that picture I was 10 weeks old. They were sure surprised when I barked at that age.
My new family is very big, Heidi is a red and sable longhair mini dachsy and Barron is chocolate with tan longhair mini dachsy. My people call us the "waggy tail gang." Did I mention the cats who are bigger than me? But I just bark at them and they run away.
My people were surprised when I slept all night long and only went potty outside. I love to run around the back yard and play with Heidi and Barron. Sometimes I hide so no one can find me and then I come running out, surprise!
We just love to go for rides in the car and go to the petshop and Home Depot. Once I fell out of the shopping cart, but my mom is really fast and caught me, I'll never do that again! Lots of people stop and pet me and ask questions, I really love all that attention.
I love food and especially when my people feed me treats. Sometimes I get cheese, not sure why they put a small pill inside, buy I really love the cheese. Now I will play, run around and sleep. Life is good.
