This is Bijou - she is a six-year-old Australian Cattle Dog. We now live on a sailboat in Houston, Texas. Bijou was a farm dog for the first five years of her life. I then took her from the farm and put her on a sailboat - where she had to learn to be confined to small quarters, but the world is at her beck and call. She is the MSD - Mighty Ship's Dog - in charge of security on the boat.
Since she can no longer herd cattle, she has adapted by chasing pelicans and seagulls! She seems to enjoy the breeze in her fur, and watching the horizon as we go, and developed her sea legs faster than any human I have ever met. She is a much loved girl.
