Buddy was saved from a family who kept him chained to a tree. Ignored, left to bark, and no one to play with. He moved into our life at five months old and the road to his recovery as a naughty dog was long and hard. The stories of our accomplishments and failures would fill ten pages. But now, he loves and hugs and is the best dog. We run everyday at a 200-acre park where he sees all of his doggy friends. And he loves his pool. As soon as the hose is out he does his happy (running) dance. And the mud, that's an all-time favorite. The neighborhood kids knock on the door and ask "Can Buddy come out and play?"
He loves to meet people and he loves to be loved. He loves to be good. I'm glad I brought him home and gave him his chance to be a dog, not a chained beast. He's my best buddy!
