Introducing
Katie "moo moo" Parga. She is a Harlequin Great Dane. Katie
is such an amazing dog. She is the sweetest angel baby. As my mother
says, she is the, "gentle giant". And she is so sweet and last year I
almost had too say goodbye. Her stomach flipped and it was the scariest
thing i had to go through. (That's called "bloat" in dogs.) She came
through the surgery with flying colors but she ended up having a spine
issue that was aggravated by the surgery and she wasn't able to walk
immediately after the surgery. I was devastated that after getting
through this risky surgery, I might still be faced with the hardest decision.
But, Katie was determine to stay and we are six months out and she is
doing great. She is a wonderful dog with so much personality. You may
not think this makes her special, but she truly has the best personality
and disposition you could imagine. She has four cats that can attest to it!
She is has a blue and brown eye which makes her even more special. She
has had her same stuffed baby since she was a puppy and will fall asleep
with it in her mouth. Any other toy is dismembered within seconds! She
lives to play and eat in snow! She doesn't like rain, and she can clean
a peanut butter jar in minutes! She is a amazing dog and yes between her
cow markings and different color eyes she is always a show stopper. She
loves to snuggle up in her bed and and loves her mommy! I can't imagine
a day without her, but I know dogs don't live forever, so I will keep
every memory of her with me always.
