This
is Routa, in the puppy pictures she was nine weeks old. Nowadays she is
2.5 years old! Routa is a pure breed Siberian Husky, a working line one.
She pulls sled as a lead dog. Her name Routa, means frozen ground, as her
birth date is August 18, 2010. In Finland at that time the grounds are
already frozen and icy. Routa is very stubborn! If she wants to do
something she will do it, no matter what. She also has very strong primal
instincts left in her, she loves to hunt and chase little animals, which
isn't so nice sometimes!
She does know some tricks, she knows how to stand on two feet by command,
and all the basic stuff, also. She's also a very good jumper, she can jump
about almost two metres high without taking a running start! She is really
affectionate towards her own pack and more independent around visitors. She
is also very brave, she isn't scared of anything! Her favorite game to play
would be chase or running free with pack of dogs! But even if she sometimes
can be really stubborn, it doesn't stop us from loving her with all our hearts!
