Katy
is the first dog I have ever owned. When I wanted a dog, at first I was
going to buy from a breeder, however, decided that a rescue was a far better choice.
I walked into a shelter and saw her. She was the only dog not barking and
very calm. The shelter told me she had been a puppy mill dog and all her
puppies had been adopted out already. She was bred very young according to
them, around two. Since then, me and Katy have come so far. She has learned
so many tricks, not once going to a training session with anyone. Simply me
teaching her everything I learned. Though I can't take complete credit for
how well behaved she is, she has been so amazing from the beginning. Katy was
already an amazing dog the day I met her.
From being rescued, now she enjoys every second of life, and I enjoy every second with her.
