To
start, Billy Boy had a sad beginning: his momma passed away on the surgery
table giving birth to him and his two brothers (they found cancer in her, but
it was too late). All three of them survived the ordeal; and thanks to his
mother's owner, who happens to also be a breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs and
a Veterinarian with his own practice, Billy Boy and his brothers were
pampered every day from all the vet technicians everyday.
What's more, Billy Boy was first called 'One Spot' due to the little white
spot on the back of his head; likewise, his brothers were called 'Two Spot'
and 'No Spot.' I had been on the waiting list for my second Bernese for six
months, and low and behold, that's when I got to meet One Sp... I mean, Billy
Boy, for the first time. (Eventually his white spot disappeared as he got
bigger.) Billy Boy is such a charmer, and very photogenic as well; and due to
him being pampered so much as a puppy... he made sure to make sure I knew
that he needed the love and attention... and my job was to serve him.
From dragging him to and fro from the house to vehicle, either lifting him
into the vehicle (because 'jumping' is not in his dictionary, especially when
I have a ramp for my other Bernese to use due to her disability), and to not
touching him with our feet (I'm not kidding, he has this weird foot fetish
going on, he'll gladly lick your feet, but if you so much as touch him with
your feet, he will look very offended and get up and walk away from you).
Other then that, he is just so cute... he gets away with everything by being
cute and charming all the time.
So what makes Billy Boy so special? Well, he's momma's boy and that would be the reason.
