Eight
years ago we were in the process of looking at a purebred German
Shepherd Dog, when a friend notified us of a ten-week-old rescued Shepherd mix
she was fostering. It was love at first sight. Tatzen quickly became a huge
part of our family. He is a German Shepherd/Belgium Malinois mix. He's
smart, loyal, playful, protective and has personality in spades. We could not
ask for a better boy!
We rescued a white German Shepherd a couple years ago (Monty) as a companion
for him. Tatzen is now resigned to the fact that he has to share his space
and the limelight with his brother and mostly tolerates Monty's goofy
enthusiasm like a gentleman.
