Hello...
My name's "Boston" Bruin. I'm the little brother of a previous Dog
of the Day named Tucker
(a Beagle/Bassett Mix) and Liger, a Maine Coon.
Me and my siblings were rescued by the aunt of my new master from a death row
shelter all the way in West Virginia. As you can see I'm black and brown
(just like a Rottweiler and Doberman), my master thinks that I might have a
little bit of either one in me - besides chihuahua and pug.
Since I'm a "Chug" I've been given some very sweet nicknames like ... Lil'
Chug, Chuggy, and probably the most popular nickname of Chug-A-Roo. I was the
only black and brown little guy in my litter while the rest of my brothers
and sisters were all light brown, white, or salted caramel brownish tan.
When I arrived to my new home I was a little (1 pound, 450g) bundle of joy. I was
given the name of Bruin because my master wanted my name to both simple and
tough/macho at the same time.
When you snuggle up with me I'll sometimes use your face as a pillow, other
times I'll just lay on my side while resting on your chest, and the rest of
the time I'll just stretch out on my belly on your chest.
While I'm sweet, I sometimes can be a bit way too rambunctious, wild, and
sort of out of control. When I run I sometimes jump and soar in mid air
whether it's going up steps or jumping off of the couch or bed. Whenever my
master and his parents or his friends or relatives come inside I sometimes
pierce the atmosphere with a high pitch 'yark' (a yelp and a bark combined).
But still I'm always loved, sometimes I'm referred to as a piglet since I'm
so small and sometimes snort like a pig. Well, that's my story, it was very
nice to meet you and to be chosen as your Dog of the Day!
