A wonderful dog is gone ... But the memories stay forever! On the 18th February 2013 our treasure, sister and our little "pocket wolf" has gone over the rainbow bridge. The day after it, it was snowing, like a greeting from our little snowflake.
Sandy was born on the 20th April 1998. Until she came to us, her name was Happy Merry. She was a really friendly, calm and cuddly dog. She has never done anything bad, and if someone annoyed her, (which, fortunately, almost no one did) she was always very peaceful. Many people loved this little dog, with her soft white fur, her black button eyes and gentle character!
Sandy accompanied us everywhere, boarded with us on every mountain, swam with us through every sea and was always happy to be with us. Her favorite place were always the "Büsenbachtal," a beautiful heath landscape, not far away from home. There she could romp through a small creek and walk around freely.
Her favorite toy was a small stuffed animal, a koala bear called "Öhrchen". He accompanied her into heaven. Sometimes Sandy treated him like a puppy, licked it and warmed him. She was always very careful with her toys and never tore anything.
Sandy had a sister who looked a lot like her (as opposed to her other brothers and sisters), she was called Chanel. Unfortunately, she died before Sandy. At the age of twelve years Sandy had her first stroke from which she recovered completely back to happiness. But at 14, she had a second stroke and was so weak due to her advanced age that she never recovered. We had to euthanize her.
She had a very strong heart and she was a very brave dog and just as we will keep her in memories. I hope that the best dog in the heaven will enchant people even today with her memories!
