Griffon is special because he filled the void that was left in my heart by my past dog. Before we got him, I had a dog named Bleu Bear that was a pomeranian. He died at the far too early age of four years old due to him door bolting. His death sent me into near depression, which affected my parents to no end. I was yelling at our other dogs, telling them not to get near me, crying my eyes out nearly all the time, and I was even getting sick because of my mental health.
My mother searched on Craigslist and found Griffon and his brother (who we also adopted). My mother wanted me to come with her, and I told her I wouldn't have any of the one's we picked out, and she understood. When my mother picked them out and handed me Griffon, who was a tad bit larger then my palm, I started bawling my eyes out. I've been attached to him ever since, and he's been my little leech as well. Wherever I am, he is. He's made my life so much better, and even though I can't replace my old dog, Griffon holds a special place in my heart, and can never be replaced.
