Struggles was a rescue. When we got her a year ago, she was very underweight and aloof, and we were told she was neglected at her previous home.
Struggles is correctly named. Her main struggles are:
1. Running water, particularly hoses and fountains (she will drink herself sick)
2. Eating garbage (sometimes not even food garbage, but bits of paper, string (which we know can be dangerous), plastic)
3. Being scared (a short list of items that she is afraid of: the bus, cats, fabric blowing in the wind, the dog who lives around the corner who she thinks is able to control the weather, rain, and moths)
4. Her farts
She is such a goofy scaredy-cat of a pup! I mean, she's a 55 lb dog who is afraid of moths! But she has a big heart and a bigger mouth and we love her a lot.
She smells wonderful, and is a great napping companion. She has webbed toes and she snores. She loves to chase flies, and loves to play with her (very well-used as you can see) tennis ball. She has only ever eaten one pair of shoes! We adore this girl!
