Spike is our terrier mix. He loves to be with family but has to be the center of attention. He's got an incredible sense of humor — knows just what to do to make us laugh.
He's not my first dog but he's very special to me and my family. I adopted him after my dog Molly passed away. He's kind of nutty. He can be sweet and affectionate, but definitely on his terms. Try to brush his teeth or put medicine in his ear and you might lose your nose. He's quiet except when he wants to go out — then he barks at you and stares until you take him. He's very smart. Knows when you're talking about him. He's a little bit bossy.
