We got this smart, kind and patient girl when I was about six years old to keep our other dog Monty company. She had already had another owner who gave her back because she had problems with her eyes and needed surgery, but by the time we knew that, we had already fallen in love with her.
And it really was worth it, not only did Finchen prove to be a great friend for our Monty, no, she also became an irreplacable member of the family. The people who gave her up have no idea what a treasure they passed on. Even after Montys death, she continues to cheer us up and just shower us with her love and affection!
