Ellie is special because she is my first dog (I am 64 years young). I have always had (and still do) have cats, whom I love dearly. My husband and I decided to adopt a dog from a rescue. And Ellie is that lucky little dog. Ellie came to us as a three-month-old baby from a rescue in Tennessee. Her mom is German Shepherd and her father was the Chihuahua next door that snuck under the fence!
Ellie is now two years old, she weighs 25 pounds and is just the cutest little dog. She is sweet, she is goofy, she has crazy ears that go in all different directions - I call them her antenna! I just love all her unique facial expressions! She loves everyone, her cat siblings included. That's my big guy Spanky looking out the window with her.
Ellie has one mood - happy! Don't let some of the picture fool you. She never runs out of kisses and loves to snuggle. Bringing Ellie into our lives has been a great joy. I cannot imagine life without this little bundle of love! I hope you all enjoy sharing Ellie with me.
