Buckaroo is a rescue puppy that we adopted in 2009. He is eight years old now. From the very first day, he was so lovable, and just wanted to be loved. Buckaroo just got back from a two-week trip with his dad. The first place he went was to his stuffed animals, safe to say, he missed them!!!
Buckaroo goes everywhere with us. But his favorite place is home with his mom and dad! He has his very own place that he sits/lays on the couch. He sleeps in bed with us every night. I have a song that I sing him before we go to bed. It is called, "The Buckaroo Song." He listens very carefully for me to get to the end of the song, where I say, "I love you, Buckaroo," and he smothers me with kisses!!
Buckaroo really loves when we come home from shopping, because he knows we have bought him another friend (stuffed animal)! He keeps them all on a pillow and lays with them, when he not playing with them, that is!
We also have seven beautiful grandchildren that call him Uncle Buck. He loves them all so very much and gets so excited when they come here! He was Sheriff Backarooo for Halloween this year. Buckaroo has brought so much joy to all of our lives, and is the best rescue puppy EVER!
