My dog's name is Nikki, she is a Pomeranian who lives in Georgia - my little Georgia peach! She is a happy, bouncy and saucy Pom who is very protective of me. As you can see she is also beautiful, healthy and humble about it!
Nikki is totally tuned in to me. My daughter is the only other person she will show affection toward. She is protective to the point of needing a dog whisperer or behaviorist sometimes! My husband calls her a classic yappy dog who turns into a charming companion when I am not around, though. I am not sure how to deal with that!
When we take her to Colorado to visit our son, we are able to let her off her leash and she is absolutely delightful to all who approach her. She loves running around the mountains! At home, she loves playing catch with Bear, her favorite stuffed animal. She is loved and adored.
