This is my life. Otherwise known as my soon to be six-year-old beagle (her birthday is March 3), Abigail Rose. Abby lives in Waukesha with her mommy, daddy, and 17-year-old sister and she always misses her 20-year-old sister who is in Appleton for school most of the time. She, however, does not mind keeping her sister's waterbed warm while she is away. These two photographs show her doing some of her favorite things, looking cute and sleeping in the sun (although eating is her all-time favorite).
I do not even know where to begin to tell someone how she is special. Maybe it's her obvious beautiful markings, maybe it's the warm greetings she gives every time someone comes home, maybe it's her awesome ability to clean plates, maybe it's her soft beagle body curling up next to you at 6:30 A.M., maybe it's her grand attempts to scare away the neighbor huskies who could eat her up in one bite if they so desired, maybe it's that face, those eyes, that beagle snout, or those adorable paws with brown spots, maybe it's her burst of energy after coming inside on a cold day, maybe it's her longing puppy eyes she gives when she really, really wants to come to Appleton to take me back to school, maybe it's her beagle belly, maybe it's the fact that you could do ANYTHING to this dog and she would take it (her temperament is amazing), or maybe it's her undying gratitude and loyalty to her family. Either way, she is loved so much.
After I finally talked my parents into getting a dog, they always said that I'd be taking it when I moved out, but that beagle baby is going no where. Reluctant as they were, her mommy and daddy love her as much as their real daughters (at least I think!). She's beautiful.
