My name is Tom, and this is my best friend of the last eleven years, Max. He is a Great Dane in his senior years. We live in Richmond, Virginia. He doesn't like to have his photo taken, or me on his side of the couch, or his feet touched. But as he is an elderly boy for his breed, he is allowed to have his quirks.
Max has been the best companion a man could have. He always sees me off to work in the morning (so he can get on "my" side of the couch) and greets me every afternoon. He is just the best, and I treasure every day I have with him.
