Hi, this is Caoimhe, which is pronounced like "Ki-Va." She is an Irish Terrier and her name comes from the Gaelic dialect, which is spoken in Ireland, where her breed was formed. The meaning of the name is " the beauty," or "the pleasant," and she is both those things. When I come home from school, she wants to go out with me. She likes to swim, what I learned, when she jumped in a small river behind my house.
She is five years old. So she runs fast, but it is important for her to always wear a leash or be on a rope. That's because Irish Terriers are hunting dogs and if they smell a rabbit, they are gone!
After dinner we feed Caoimhe. She is a not only a kind dog, she is beautiful and is my best friend.
