Frodo
Sigmund Baggins was born on May 22nd, 2013. He is a strong-willed,
goofy, and lovable mutt weighing around thirty pounds. He is a huge fan of
food, playing, and belly rubs. We adopted Frodo from Angels Among Us, an
all-breed rescue in Georgia. Frodo was only six months old at the time! He
lives with Katie, a thirteen-year-old Beagle/German Shepherd cross, two one-year-old
Tuxedo cats, and a three-year-old Cockatiel. And let's not forget the two adults
and five children that keep Frodo company during the day! Frodo's best friend
and playmate is one of the cats, Phineas, who can relate to Frodo because of
her energy and playfullness. When left to their own devices, they enjoy
wresting, though sometimes Frodo has to be monitored so he doesn't play too
rough with his smaller feline friend!
Frodo barks at everyone he sees out the window or encounters during his
walks, but once he meets that person, he is friendlier than ever! Frodo often
gets compliments on his adorable little face and body! As you can see, his
tail curls over his back and his ears are pricked, true to the Spitz in his blood.
We love Frodo to pieces and can't imagine life without him. If we could raise
him all over again, we would do it in a second. Frodo is a true member of the
family, and I can say the same for all of the furry and feathered creatures
in our household. We are very blessed to have such an amazing dog.
