Hi, my name is Annie, wishing everyone a Happy St. Patrick's Day weekend.
I was adopted from Huntsville Animal Services. Mom saw my adorable picture on their Facebook page, and she couldn't resist. I was picked up as a stray, so they had no history on me.
I am a senior, and I do have some health concerns. Mom thinks I'm deaf, and can't see very well. My back legs sometime give out a little. None of that matters to her. After all, she is a senior, too.
The ride home was uneventful. I was a perfect angel. Then I got to meet my new sisters. They are used to plenty of dogs around, so that went OK. Next, I found the food and water dishes. Finally, it was time for a nap.
Being older, I do sleep a lot. When I wake up, Mom carries me outside to potty. If she doesn't catch me in time, I sometime have an "accident" in the house. All of the floors have vinyl, so clean-up is easy. I am learning to use a pee pee pad, too.
With all of my medical problems, I'm not sure how much time I have left. But I do know this is the perfect place to spend my golden years.
