Why
is he special? To me? My dog is my whole world. To you? He might be just
a dog, but in my eyes, he's my four legged, fluffy son. When I first got him,
I was coming home from school on a snowy day (It was December, almost
Christmas break). I tossed my back pack on the kitchen table, and saw puppy
pads on the floor. I thought to myself "Okay, Andy's (my now ex-boyfriend)
mom's dogs must be here again." I went back into our bedroom, to see a little
pet carrier. I expected to see one of Andy's mom's dogs in there, but this
beautiful, little, white fluffball came out, and I started tearing up and
Andy looked at me and said "That's your puppy." That's when I called my mom
and asked her about it, and all she said to me was "Merry Christmas, sweetheart."
That is why Casper is special. He is my whole world and everything in it. I
couldn't imagine my life without him. He's a goofy dog. I love when I wake up
and he's always right beside me. If I'm crying, and really upset, he will do
everything in his power to make sure I feel better in the end. He licks my
tears away and he looks at me with those big brown puppy eyes, and it just
makes everything all better again.
He does know some tricks, if you hold up a treat to his nose, he will sit,
and if you tell him to shake, he will. Then you tell him 'Other Paw' and
he'll know and give you his other paw. He is very affectionate to others, he
loves people, and this weekend, just recently me and my best friend had a
puppy play date with her dog, Copper (he is a Beagle) and they played around
like they were brothers. Casper is honestly the greatest gift in the world. I
honestly always tell myself that I have the greatest dog in the whole world.
