Bailey
is a very intelligent puppy. When she was only ten weeks old, she
already knew her basic tricks like sit, stay, lay down, etc. She loves to
play ball and will often flick the ball back and forth with her paws, like
she's playing soccer. It is so funny to watch her. If the ball goes under the
couch and she can't get it, then she will howl to get someone's attention and
look at us so we know that she wants us to get the ball for her. Another
thing she loves to do is watch golf on TV. I know, right?! She loves it. When
she hears them clap on TV she knows golf is on. She plop down in front of the
TV and watch the golfer hit the ball and her head will follow the ball on
screen. It is adorable and everyone in my family gets a kick out of it.
One of the other activities she loves to do is swim. She is most definitely a
water dog. When I run the bath water, she just jumps right into the tub.
During the summer I bought her a small plastic pool and she would jump right
in aand splash water on herself. Another activity she loves is going on car
rides. I will open the sunroof in my car and she'll have her front legs on my
console and she'll stick her head right out the sunroof. The only time she
doesn't like the car is when I pull into the vet clinic parking lot. I also
own an eight-month-old kitten named Rox, who she loves to chase around the house
and play with. They are definitely best friends.
She's very affectionate and loves people. If a someone comes over my house,
she gets super excited. Her whole body starts to wiggle like a worm and she
jumps around all over the place. I often tell company that to calm her down,
all you have to do is rub her chest. She is very much a mommie's girl though,
and will follow me around everywhere. Even if she is sleeping and I get up to
go into the kitchen or something, she will then get up and follow me. At
night she loves to snuggle up with me on the bed. She is very much like a
baby, but a big baby at that.
