Taco was rescued. He's adorable and we love him. Taco is our family's first dog. We've wanted to get a chihuahua forever, but we wanted the right one. I grew up with a St. Bernard, so a little tiny dog was completely new for us. We were cat people until we got him and now we can't imagine life without him. He came from a small breed rescue group here in Seattle, but he was rescued in Southern California and brought up here.
He's the coolest dog ever - super affectionate, doesn't bark much but he acts like a giant dog, thinking he's 100 times bigger than he is. He likes mozzarella cheese as a treat. He walks around like a little tough guy. He's super playful, but doesn't have any tricks. We decided he's kind of "untrainable". He likes to use the carpet more than he likes to go outside. But we forgive him.
He's been to Canada and likes to watch hockey games. We try to take him everywhere we go. He mostly goes in a backpack. We've been kicked out of a few places like Starbucks and the Seattle Art Museum, but he's worth it.
