everybody, I would like to present Lizzi, my lovely dog!
To make a long story short, I found Lizzi in Athens, Greece when she was just
eight months old, scarred and abused; she was a lost soul. I didn't know the
Greek language, she didn't speak mine, Hungarian, but in one week we spoke
our own language! She is an Alopekis (mixed breed), probably Jack Russell and Chihuahua.
She doesn't know she's a dog, her soul is way too human. She is always
looking for attention and being there wherever you are, a true companion.
Lizzi likes cats too! We adopted two baby kittens and they became like
sisters for her, unbelievable! She is like a sticky paper, she cries when you
cry, an emotional soul I would say! She has those big brown eyes, and even
though now she's the princess of our family, you can still see pain in her
eyes ... her past must have been tragic, I think.
Lizzi likes to chew on her puppets for hours. Chasing ball can be fun for
five minutes only, then she would rather chase pigeons. She do knows tricks,
I think she learned one on the street. She will be standing on two legs and
with her two front feet waving, I don't know how to explain it, it is like
begging, but fast! I was amazed by her doing this. She also indicates when
she is willing to jump in my arms or when she wants to leave the house!
She is very affectionate, she is searching for attention all the time, if
you don't touch her or talk to her or even worse, if you ignore her she can
be so upset and depressed. She's like a human, really! Her personality is
bubbly like soda, but she also is tender and very focused on what her owner
says. She is a family dog, loving everybody but proudly I can say that she's
attached more to me, maybe because she also remembers that February afternoon
when I found her!
